ISLAMABAD: Former minister for information technology Anusha Rehman has been appointed as a Regional Adviser of Commonwealth Telecommunication Organisation (CTO) for East and South Asia Region.Anusha Rehman, a renowned lawyer and had also served as a minister for information technology during the government of the PML-N. Acting Secretary General of Commonwealth Telecommunication Organisation Gisa Fuatal Purcell made the announcement of Anusha Rehman as a Regional Adviser of CTO.Anusha Rehman recently presided the meeting forum of the Commonwealth Spectrum Management and also addressed on challenges as a special guest issues in the challenges of National Spectrum Planning—from 2G to 6G’. She was awarded Spectrum for mobile broadband Award in 2015. Anusha Rehman said her appointment as a Regional Adviser of CTO by secretary general CTO is an honour for Pakistan.
