ISLAMABAD: Over 100 traders from Kashmir Valley have been forced to close their shops in Indian state of Haryana.According to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), a number of callers told media men in Srinagar that the owners of their rented accommodations had asked them to vacate the facilities at Ramgarh in Panchkula district of the state, saying that they had been continuously pressurised by the locals not to allow Kashmiris to stay there.We have been receiving continuous threats and we were asked to vacate, Zahoor Ahmad Dar, a trader from Awoora Kupwara said. We have left our entire goods there, he said. Accompanied by others, he said we are now putting up in local Masjids.He said all traders from Kashmir visited the local police station, seeking help. But no help was provided to us, he said. We fear for our lives and government should ensure the safety of our person and goods.Meanwhile, more than 300 Kashmiri students studying inside India are returning home after facing attacks and threats from Hindu goons. The students who are returning home in various groups were putting up at private rented accommodations in Dehradun, Haryana and other places.
