LAHORE: Lahore Police in crackdown against the drug peddlers have arrested as many as 72 accused within last three days. Lahore DIG Operations Muhammad Waqas Nazir had directed all Divisional SPs, DSPs and SHOs to initiate grand operations against the criminals particularly drug peddlers. According to details, City Division Police have registered 14, Cantt Division 14, Civil Lines Division 10, Sadar Division 15, Iqbal Town Division 08 where as Model Town Division Police have registered 11 FIRs. During the crackdown, Police have also recovered more than 15kg ICE, more than 36kg Charas and 594 bottles of liquor from the arrested criminals. Waqas said Police have been implementing on Zero Tolerance policy against the criminals particularly drug peddlers. Lahore Police will deal with these anti-social elements with iron hands.
