BZU approves Rs403.504m for completion of various projects

MULTAN: The Finance and Planning Committee of the Bahauddin Zakariya University has approved Rs403.504 million funds for upgradation of faculties, establishing laboratories and completion of ongoing schemes. In this connection, BZU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Tariq Ansari chaired the F&PC meeting on Monday. The meeting approved Rs 0.770 million for conversion of lab supervisors, computer operators from BPS-14 to BPS-16.The meeting also approved Rs 1.5 million for reallocation of current financial year budget 2018-19 under the head ‘part time teaching’ of the BZU Agriculture College and early completion of the varsity’s Layyah Bahadur campus.The F&PC of the BZU also approved Rs 24.250 million for the construction of two architecture studios at the Multan College of Arts, Rs 1.75 million for the purchase of furniture for the Multan College of Arts, Rs 2 million for the purchase of library books for the Multan College of Arts, Rs 0.050 million approved for the BZU legal cell, Rs 20 million approved for financial assistance to the families of civil servants who dies during service, Rs 68.2 million approved for provision of funds for external development of various buildings and approved Rs 8.491 for the creation of seven posts of assistant professors at the Institute of Chemical Sciences.
