NOWSHERA: A court in Rawalpindi released an associate of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam S, Maulana Samiul Haq who reached Akora Khattak town of the Nowshera district on Thursday. Maulana Syed Ahmad Shah was the secretary of late Maulana Samiul Haq. He was taken into custody for investigation after the JUI-S chief was murdered at his residence in a private housing society in Rawalpindi on November 2, last year. He had been held by the investigation agencies and police since then. Maulana Syed Ahmad Shah had cooperated with the probe teams, police and sons of the slain religious scholar and politician.
