Bollywood's most loved couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot last year as per Konkani traditions in a dreamy Lake Como setting in Italy, were introduced by Varun Dhawan as his 'adopted parents' in a viral video.It happened when emerging film star Varun Dhawan suddenly met Deepika and Ranveer on his way to London and shared a goofy video on his Instagram story, also featuring the two, in which he called the couple as his "adopted parents." Varun, in the video from the Heathrow Airport, can be seen seated in the front with Deepika and Ranveer at the back of the airport cart. He starts the video by shouting, "London touchdown... meet my adopted parents." Listening his comments, Deepika bursts out laughing while Ranveer also produced smile.Without wasting a second Deepika intervened to add that there's been no dereliction of "parental" duties by the "adopted parents": "We made sure he had his dinner... we made sure he slept well... we made sure he had his breakfast..." and she went on.
