LAHORE: A man was killed while three others were shot at and injured by their opponents on their way to session courts in the Shafiqabad police area on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Zikria, 66, a resident of Karim Park while three injured victims as Atif, Qaisar and Abbas. Police said the victims were on their way to court when two bikers intercepted them and opened firing. As a result, Zikria received bullet wounds in his chest and died. The condition of Atif and Qaisar was stated to be critical. Police have collected evidences and started investigations. Police have removed the body to morgue and the injured to hospital.Schoolteacher found dead in house: A 55-year-old woman was found dead at her house in the Factory Area police jurisdiction on Wednesday. The victim has been identified as Jahan Begum alias Mona, a resident of Farooq Colony. She was widow.She was a teacher in a private school located in front of her house. On the day of the incident, she didn’t come to school, over which, the school admin visited her house and found her dead.Police collected evidences from the house. Police said it seemed the woman died natural death. However, the body was removed to morgue to ascertaining the cause of her death.
