PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Saturday conducted an orientation session for the judicial officers posted to the newly merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.Speaking on the occasion, PHC Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth urged on proceeding as per the law without any pressure, prejudice,.“The selection of judicial officers for this assignment has been carried out painstakingly and extra caution has been taken to ensure that the best are selected for this mammoth assignment,” he added.He referred to the preparations carried out by the Registrar Khwaja Wajihud Din and the secretariat of district judiciary, and said that all efforts have been carried out to facilitate the judicial officers posted there.PHC Registrar Khawaja Wajihud Din said that a three-pronged strategy has been devised as immediate intervention makeshift arrangements have been carried out in adjoining districts.In a short span, arrangements shall be made to shift the courts to those districts. As long-term planning, it is proposed to the provincial government to establish judicial complexes in those districts.
