Pilot’s release a moral victory: Buzdar

LAHORE: Pakistani politicians have termed the release of Indian pilot a moral victory of Pakistan over India and conveyed a message of unity in the ranks of Pakistani nation.In a statement, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that Pakistan had achieved a moral victory over India by announcing the release of Indian pilot. Prime Minister Imran Khan has proved with this action that Pakistan is a peace-loving country, he added.The international community has also welcomed the release of Indian pilot as a goodwill gesture and the prime minister had given a positive message to the world by initiating courageous step for peace, he added.“Pakistan is desirous of peace and peace will prevail” said Usman Buzdar. The chief minister said that political parties were united and the whole nation was firmly standing beside armed forces for the defence and solidarity of the country.He reiterated that national defence, solidarity and sovereignty would be upheld at every cost. The false Indian claims have been exposed before the world and the Indian leadership has been depressed due to their failed attempt. Squadron leader Hassan Siddiqui is the pride of the whole nation, he added.Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s central leader Jehangir Khan Tareen, while talking to The News said that the announcement to release the captured Indian pilot by PM Imran Khan was the reflection of true statesmanship. He said that peace was vital for the region and prosperity in the region could only be achieved through this.The PML-Q MNA Chaudhry Saalik Hussein while talking to The News said that Pakistan had won on both fronts, diplomatic and borders front. Pakistan had attained high moral grounds by releasing the Indian pilot adding India itself had been exposed over the issue of Kashmir as the leaders of the held valley got united against Narendera Modi’s unacceptable policies.“Not only the Indian elections are the reason behind these events, Indian PM has realised that Kashmir is also slipping from Indian hands now after which the leadership there has resorted to these tactics” said Chaudhry Saalik Hussein.
