MANSEHRA: Alleging rigging in the PK-30 by-election, Mazhar Ali Qasim, the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) candidate, on Thursday vowed to approach the Election Commission to seek justice."I have evidence of poll rigging at some polling stations in the by-election. I will take the evidence to the Election Commission to seek justice," Mazhar told reporters in Balakot. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf aspirant Ahmad Hussain Shah used government machinery to win the by-election. "I don't accept the results and will move the Election Commission," said Qasim.He said that he was in consultation with his lawyers and would soon move the EC. PTI Ahmad Hussain Shah, according to unofficial results, secured 46,483 votes against 39,945 of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz aspirant Mazhar Ali Qasim in PK-30.The seat had had fallen vacant after the disqualification of PML-N MPA Mian Ziaur Rehman last year. Also in the day, MPA elect Ahmad Hussain Shah thanked voters, PTI party workers and leaders.
