PESHAWAR: Deputy Commissioner of Lower Kohistan has under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code banned demonstrations, march and rallies in the district. According to an official handout, the order shall come into force with immediate effect. It shall remain enforced for a period of 30 days from the issuance of this order or till it is withdrawn. The violation of this order is punishable U/S 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
