LAHORE: The Planning and Development Board chairman has directed speedy completion of construction and rehabilitation of classrooms and other facilities in the schools in 16 districts of Punjab. He issued these directions to the staff concerned during a meeting held on the School Construction & Rehabilitation Programme with DFID representatives.According to the School Education Department, DFID has completed 1,830 classrooms so far. Now 2,800 new rooms are being constructed and 1,400 science labs, 1,400 computer labs and 700 libraries will be rehabilitated for use of schoolchildren all over Punjab.
