ISLAMABAD: There are strong rumours of a rift between two top personalities of a Middle Eastern country, an international media outlet has been told.Both the personalities are understood to have disagreed over a number of important policy issues in recent weeks. The tensions between the two increased in late February when one of them visited a foreign country and was warned by his advisers he was at risk of a potential move against him. His entourage was so alarmed at the possible threat that his security team was changed abruptly.While the one was away the second took two important decisions and gave his brother an important post. The sources said that the announcement was made without the knowledge of the other important person. However, sources close to both the personalities denied any rift between the two. He termed the decision taken by one a routine matter.
