Two women held for supplying narcotics to educational institutions

FAISALABAD: Sargodha Road police on Saturday arrested two women drug pushers.The police arrested Iqra and Shahida Parveen on the charge of supplying narcotics in local educational institutions. Narcotics were being sold in local colleges and universities by the members of an organised gang of drug pushers at Mansoorabad. The arrested accused women have told the names of members of their gang who sold narcotics in local educational institutions. In the light of the information, Sargodha Road police have constituted different raiding parties to conduct raids at Mansoorabad and other places to arrest the accused. According to the police, the arrested women drug pushers have confessed to their crime and disclosed that they were involved in supplying narcotics, including charas and ice heroin, among the university students. Meanwhile, Gulberg police arrested drug pusher Naveed near the main gate No 4 of the GC University. The police also recovered 1.5kg charas and other narcotics from his possession. The accused told the police that he was supplying charas and other narcotics to the university students. He told that he was getting narcotics from another drug pusher Sheikh Adnan.
