Rawalpindi: Former UK Minister of State and Member House of Lords, Sayeeda Warsi laid foundation stone of her foundation's building at village Bewal in Gujar Khan.Chairman Board of Investment and Trade Punjab Sardar Tanvir also participated in the ceremony. Sayeeda also belongs to Bewal village. Her foundation is a charity foundation which is playing a major role in training people especially women. This foundation is working with the name of SAWERA since 2002 and has provided training to 10,000 girls and benefitted 30,000 women.On this occasion MPA Javed Kausar, Chaudhary Naseer president of Citizen Developer Association of Pakistan , doctors, social activists and many people along with Sayeeda Warsi took part in stone laying ceremony.Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan offered full support to this foundation. He said the Punjab Government will also support the project. He also visited Bewal Charity International hospital along with Dr. Atique-ur-Rehman who is renowned Pakistani surgeon working in Birmingham UK.
