MULTAN: Seed cotton (Phutti) equivalent to over 7,447,544 bales has reached ginneries across Pakistan till December 1, showing a decrease of 20.49pc as compared to last year when the ginneries received 9,366,938 bales.According to the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association data, the Punjab ginning factories received 4,141,096 bales, showing a decline of 24.6pc as compared to the last year when the Punjab ginners received 5,453,117 bales.The Sindh province is also facing decline of 15.52pc. The Sindh ginning factories have received 336,448 cotton bales as compared to 3,913, 821 bales received last year. The ginning factories have prepared 6,952,342 bales of lint across the country till December 1. The exporters have procured 50,430 bales of lint while the textile sector procured 5,974,092 bales of lint.The Trading Corporation of Pakistan could not procure a single bale of lint, the PCGA report said.In Punjab, 363 ginning factories are operational and prepare 3,873,065 bales of lint in Punjab.The Multan district received 123,472 bales till December 1, Lodhran received 57,765 bales, Khanewal received 340,746 bales, Muzaffargarh received 187,570 bales, Dera Ghazi Khan received 333,514 bales, Rajanpur received 262,281 bales, Layyah received 138,668 bales,
