ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said Thursday a big looming refugee crisis could be averted by barring India from illegal and inhuman measures in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).In tweets, she mentioned that Pakistan had been hosting three million refugees despite being a poor country and emphasised that Pakistan's hosting of Afghan refugees for 40 years despite all difficulties was commendable. She pointed out that Prime Minister Imran Khan's address at the recent Global Refugee Forum, highlighting problems of the helpless refugees, had brought awareness about refugees' difficulties to the world.The special assistant to PM laid emphasis on addressing the circumstances that force people to become refugees.
