Amitabh Bachchan has been conferred with the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke today and the actor received the honour from President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The 77-year-old actor was conferred with the highest honour of the film industry for his outstanding contribution to cinema. The award comprises of a Golden Lotus and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh. Amitabh Bachchan had skipped this year's National Film Awards ceremony due to health issues.
