MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has released an amount of Rs300 million for the development projects of Oghi tehsil of Mansehra district.
"The provincial government has released an amount of Rs300 on chief minister's order and soon the construction work on these schemes will be initiated," MPA Nawabzada Fareed, the chairman district development advisory committee, told reporters in Oghi on Sunday. He said that the tendering process for development schemes was completed and execution process would soon be started. Fareed said that 16 roads schemes including Oghi-Battle road would be completed from released funds, bringing relief to people of not only Oghi but also the rest of the district. "The main artery, Oghi-Battle which links Oghi tehsil with upper parts of Mansehra would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs200 million," he added.
Fareed said chief minister would soon approve another development package for health and education sectors in Oghi tehsil. "We want better health care services for the people in Oghi and time is not all existing health facilities would be equipped with modern facilities," he said.
