NAWABSHAH: MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio said that we all have to play role to ending corruption from the society. He was addressing a rally on the occasion of the Anti-Corruption Day.Addressing the rally, Chandio said adherence to law would makes it possible to end corruption and stressed for a struggle to end the culture of seeking and payment of bribery. Additional Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Pervaiz Ahmed Baloch said corruption is an evil that is eating the country like a termite. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Shaheed Benazirabad Mir Nadir Ali Abro said besides the government agencies, it is the collective responsibility of the society to eradicate corruption from Pakistan and added awareness rallies and seminars are being organized to eradicate this evil. He said Islam also declares bribe as 'Haram' and pronounced that both the payer and seeker would be consigned to hell. He asked reporting any one demanding bribes to the Anti-Corruption Office where quick action could be initiated against him.
