LANDIKOTAL: Seeking justice, a tribal woman on Wednesday alleged that her grandfather was killed in Rawalpindi while her father and other eight relatives were implicated in false cases.Husna Shinwari, daughter of former town member Asad Khan Shinwari, told the media at her residence that in September, last year, her grandfather was brutally killed at the house of one Sumera Safdar in Rawalpindi. She said Sumera Safdar was later killed by unknown men while in the case, Nazo Shinwari nominated her father, uncles and cousins who were in their offices and private businesses at the time of the incident.Husna said that Nazo, in connivance with Punjab police and a few biased television anchors, trapped her whole family in bogus cases and put all male members of her family behind bars.“My three uncles, three cousins and maternal grandfather are in police custody while we don’t know how and where is my fatherAsad Khan, for whom we are crying all the time,” said Husna.Flanked by her sisters and other family women and children, Husna broke into tears and said that only women were left behind at home, with their minor children. She said Nazo did not even spare her 70 years old grandmother and nominated her in the first investigation report in murder cases. The woman alleged that Punjab police was backing her opponents and several times violated laws and took away valuables from their homes in Peshawar. She said Nazo wanted to snatch her whole family property from them.Husna said all the allegations levelled against her family were false.
