Indian misadventure turned into embarrassment, says Fazl

SUKKUR: The Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman on Friday said Modi is suffering from “war hysteria” and is unable to fathom Pakistan’s strength.Talking to the media persons, he advised the Indian prime minister to learn from the failure of the US in Afghanistan. He said the Indian misadventure has turned into a sheer embarrassment for them with the loss of two jets and the capture of one of their pilots by Pakistan. He said despite serious political differences with the ruling party, we are united against any aggression against the country.The JUI-F said the Muslims never believe in aggression but they are duty bound to repel aggression strongly. The veteran politician said Pakistan armed forces are fully capable to defend the motherland against any aggression. He categorically denied the presence of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) in Pakistan and also refused any link with any such organisationThe veteran politician said peace in the region depends on the resolution of the Kashmir issue which India does not want to address and is in fact trying to quell the freedom struggle with ruthless oppression. He said India has become internationally isolated and suggested to the world community to come forward and to play their due role to stop Indian warmongering. Fazlur Rehman said the release of the Indian Air Force pilot was the result of external pressure. He said the release of the captured pilot was a lost opportunity to force India to bow down.
