LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar on Wednesday said Pakistan had achieved success on all fronts against India in the current situation and Indian propaganda had been exposed badly.Talking to a group of reporters at Governor’s House, Chaudhry Sarwar said all the three fronts i.e. political, diplomatic and borders were of great significance for a country and Pakistan had won on all the fronts. He said India for years had been busy in malicious propaganda against Pakistan before the global community but this time the real face of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been exposed before the world.He also said this had become clear to the world that the Indian prime minister was a threat to the peace of the region and he wanted to gain political mileage while creating confrontation with his neighbours.To a question about Kartarpur corridor, he said it was a historic breakthrough which was welcomed worldwide. The Punjab governor, who is also the chairman of Religious Tourism and Heritage Committee, stated that to facilitate the Sikh Yatrees, nearly 600 feet long tunnel was also being established in Nankana Sahib with the cooperation of people. All possible measures would be taken by the government to promote religious tourism in Pakistan, he added.To a question, he said he had not differences with the Punjab chief minister and there existed complete harmony between them. He said that he was performing the responsibilities that fell in his domain. The Punjab governor also stressed the need for research in the agricultural sector. He said a lot of support could be given to the country’s economy by improving the agricultural sector.
