LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to regularise all educators (teachers hired on contractual basis) in the province. According to NNI news agency, a government policy statement says that all those educators completing their four-year service till April 30, 2018 would be regularised.The teachers have been advised to submit their performance report after getting them signed from former district education officers (DEOs). According to rules, annual ACRs of all educators was available at district education officers offices.However, some DEOs are creating hurdles in regularisation of these teachers. The educators have requested the Punjab chief minister, Punjab education minister and chief secretary Punjab for taking notice of the situation and taking measures for their regularisation.
