Scattered rain forecast

LAHORE: Officials said a westerly wave was present along western parts of the country and likely to affect parts of Balochistan from tonight. They predicted mainly partly cloudy weather conditions were expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds was expected at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, D.G Khan, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Larkana divisions, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.Rainfall was observed at several cities including Malamjabba, Peshawar, Mirkhani, Dir, Parachinar, Saidu Sharif, Drosh, Pattan, Kakul, Balakot, Kalam, Chitral, Kamra, Murree, Mangla, Rawalakot, Garidupatta, Muzaffarabad, Kotli and Gupis while snowfall was observed at Malamjabba, Murree, Drosh and Rawalakot.Tuesday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Kalam where mercury dropped down to -05°C while in Lahore it was 10.3°C, maximum was 24°C and rainfall was 8.7 mm.
