GHALLANAI: A woman and a child were killed while two others injured in a roof collapse incident in Kolai Mian village in Safi tehsil in Mohmand district.It was learnt that the roof of the house collapsed trapping four persons, including two children. The villagers rushed to the spot to rescue the trapped people. However, a woman and a child had already died when they were pulled out of the rubble.Another woman and a child were injured in the incident. The dead woman was identified as the wife of Bakhtawar and one-year-old Fatima, daughter of Said Jan. The injured were taken to a hospital in Nawagai. The recent rains played havoc in Mohmand where several mud-houses collapsed. The affectees appealed to the government for compensation.
