PESHAWAR: Two persons were wounded when armed men opened fire on an accused after police were taking him back from the court on Tuesday. An official said that a police party was taking an accused Tahir back to the police station from the court in a private cab when armed men opened fire on the car near Baghicha Mosque on the Bara Road. The accused and taxi driver Amjad sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
