Asfandyar Wali says PTI govt has failed on economic front

CHARSADDA: Awami National Party (ANP) head Asfandyar Wali Khan said on Friday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had failed economically.He said the figures about the loans the present government had taken to date after assuming power were highly alarming. The ANP chief said the PTI government had taken 35 per cent of the total loans which were taken in the 71 years."The Kaptaan has bettered all the previous records in loan taking," he said with concern. Asfandyar Wali said the volume of the loans is increasing due to the flawed economic policies of the government. "The country will go bankrupt if the present situation persisted for another five years," he feared.The ANP chief said such a state of affairs was highly dangerous for the country integrity. He added that the State Bank of Pakistan statistics as being aired by the media were to believe, the present government had failed to deliver.
