TIMERGARA: The people at a Khuli Kutchehry on Friday demanded the construction of roads, the appointment of doctors and upgrading schools in Samarbagh tehsil.The district administration Lower Dir arranged the Khuli Kutchehry at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Darbar Miskini in Samarbagh. Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Haji Bahadar Khan, Deputy Commissioner Saadat Hassan, Assistant Commissioner Samarbagh Muhammad Mohsin Salahuddin, AAC Samarbagh Younas Khan and heads of line departments were present on the occasion. A number of locals also attended the Khuli Kutchehry.Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said that the government officials were public servants and must facilitate people.He set a deadline of half a month to various departments for resolving the short-term issues highlighted by the general public during the open forum.The public demanded widening of Miskini Road, posting of MBBS doctor at BHU Darbar Miskuni, upgrading building of GPS Skhawono Miskini, repair of Kakas bridge, water supply schemes for Miskini, High and Higher School for Girls in Miskini, making functional the hydropower plant at Maskini and construction of road from Miskini to Dhall.
