PESHAWAR: A two-day national conference started at the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan on Tuesday at the Agriculture Department of the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM).The conference has been organised to highlight the importance of biochar and its role in life on the earth surface, said a press release. A national conference is organized at the Department of Agriculture, AWKUM in collaboration with international journal of Agricultural and Environmental Research, Office of Research innovation and Commercialization, and Eurasian School, an International Education System.Dr Khan Bahadar Marwat, Dr Muhammad Arif and Dr Muhammad Farooq Qayyum were the keynote speaker. Participants from various parts of the country attended the conference.
