PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday raided the currency market in Chowk Yadgar and arrested seven persons for illegally business of hundi and hawala. An official said a team headed by Inspector Gul Rehman of the FIA raided Zain Market from where seven people were taken into custody for the illegal business of hundi and hawala. There were some media reports that one person died due to the alleged torture by the officials during the raid. The police officials, however, denied the reports, saying only seven persons were arrested by the FIA.
